BUILDERS REPORT WILL INCREASE SANTA MONICA FORECLOSURES

I pointed out a few days ago that I joined in a Webinar given by a lrge Builders Association and the topic was distressed houses, Santa Monica Foreclosures, and the effect they were having on the “new housing starts”

The continuing plague of Santa Monica Houses that are considered distressed properties is feeding a cycle wherein distressed sales push prices downward, which creates more negative equity among homeowners. This in turn fuels more defaults and distressed sales.

The Santa Monica Foreclosures are very low compared to the West LA Real Estate Foreclosures that are on the market. However because of the cyclical path of negative media this could cause an increase in Santa Monica Foreclosures
