How Should You Take Title To Your Home

Or in layman’s terms what should it say on the documents that show how you own the house or condo. I have a great chart I received from a title company that I use,  you can use this as a starting point of what your options are. You should always check with your accountant and  / or your attorney what would be good for you.

Just click this link,  Ways To Hold Title  and you will be directed to the PDF file that you can download to your computer and print for your records. Of course if you have any questions send me an email bob_schmalz@wlaregroup.com or call 310.505.5571

Tenancy In Common Vs. Condominium

I have been getting a lot of questions recently regarding what is a TIC , Tenants in Common. People are starting to go on line and using there search engines, they come across this fantastic “deal” but they see TIC instead of it saying Condominium. By the way if you would like me to send you probably the best search engine on the Internet let me know it is a service that my MLS provides for me called “Listing Book”. It is not available to the public on the Internet and of course I provide this service with no charge. Drop me an e bob_schmalz@wlaregroup.com and I will set it up.

Ok… so TIC (Tenancy In Common) is another way to structure a multi occupancy building. You will usually be enticed to this property because they look like a great value. Don’t even think about it unless you want to live a nightmare. If you have any questions please call me at 310.505.5571 before getting involved in this type of ownership. Here is an article that will give you a deeper understanding of Tenancy in common.

Adapting to Gen X, Y Clients!!!!!!!!!!!

I am just wondering if I will live long enough to see Gen Z and if we will start all over agian with Gen A ???????????????? Also was there a Gen U, V & W ? Did I miss something?
I saw a great article in one of the leading Real Estate Publications and although this article was written about Real Estate it can apply to most other professions.
No matter how hard we may to try to get away from Social Media (I just learned that email is even considerd social media) as a necessary marketing tool reality will always come back that there is no choice.

Read this article it really gives insight to Gen X & Y and being a boomer I need it. Adapting to Gen X & Y Clients
